About The Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play an important role in maintaining the reputation of the LSM brand by providing efficient servicing, repairs, and support for our industry-leading recycling equipment. You will represent LSM on the ground, ensuring clients across the Island of Ireland receive outstanding technical expertise and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular servicing and maintenance of recycling equipment.
  • Attend breakdowns and complete timely, professional repairs on-site.
  • Install, decommission, and provide training on equipment for safe usage.
  • Produce risk assessments, method statements, and maintain compliance records.
  • Submit accurate work reports via the provided electronic device.
  • Maintain safety standards and complete regular housekeeping records.
  • Collaborate with staff, customers, and suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Qualified or experienced Field Service Engineer.
  • Experience within the recycling industry is highly advantageous.
  • Expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding systems.
  • Proficient in email and online platforms; capable of completing online inductions.
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary starting at €42,000/year.
  • Additional pay: commission, monthly bonuses, and overtime for weekend on-call work.
  • Sick pay and flexible working arrangements.
  • Full product training at our Portlaoise factory.
  • 39-hour workweek with occasional flexibility required.
  • Rotational weekend on-call duty (every 4th weekend, with overtime).
  • Fully equipped company van.
  • Work phone, tools, and workwear.
  • Fuel card provided.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
  • Electrical experience (preferred).
  • Leaving Certificate (preferred).
  • 100% willingness to travel across Ireland.
